If you have been wanting to learn how to hook or just improve your technique this is an in person workshop that will help you do that. It is a 2 day workshop a week apart, you will have lots of time with the teacher for questions and hands on instruction. We will have you hooking right away and you will have a chance to practice several techniques. A brief discussion of the history of rug hooking, the equipment, colour planning and how to work with a colour wheel. Day 2 we will resolve any issues you run in to at home and I will demo a finishing technique for the project. This colourful 10x20 mat is fun and quick to hook, you will have all the skills needed to move on to your next project once you have finished this piece. There will be a second pattern which makes a great pillow, 15x15 in a similar pattern.(Picture will be posted as soon as it is hooked)

Class size is limited so you will have lots of student teacher time.

Dates:Sunday Sept 25 and Oct 2nd  9:30- 2:30 or

Thursday Oct 6th and 13th 9;30-2;30

McMartin House Perth Ontario

Class fee $145 kit $115 (HST included in the prices)
