Willow Creek Rug Hooking presents patterns designed by Carol Shewan, Joani Newman and by special license from Penny Lane Publishing Inc., the designs of American folk artist Tonya Crawford. We are also pleased to announce that we are now presenting designs exclusive to Willow Creek Rug Hooking by native artist AJ VanDrie, patterns from Eaton's Department Store and now the wonderful work by Barbel Smith.
Design kits include pattern printed on linen in your choice of Traditional or Primitive Linen.
The Tom Thomson patterns are available in 2 sizes
12x 14 approx. and 18x18 approx. All 3 patterns are on linen suitable for a #4 and up cut. I recommend a #4-5 for the smaller ones and a #5-6 ffor the larger.
The top picture is the West Wind, the second is The Jack Pine and the third is Summer Shore Georgian Bay.
A new pattern on primitive linen, this is from a picture of one of the tigers at the Toronto Zoo. It was fun to do it in crazy colours but would be great in the natural colours as well.

Pattern is on Primitive linen and is great for textures. Each square is 6x6.
A new pattern on primitive linen in the West Coast style. This is a 19x19 pattern. I use a down filled 20x20 pillow form which fills the pillow out nicely. The striking contrast of the red, white and black make a great statement.
It is also available as a kit.

The Eaton's company purchased patterns from The Garrett company in Nova Scotia. We have a selection of patterns, reproduced with permission from Sears Canada who own the Eaton's trademark. Hooking an Eaton pattern is to hook a bit of our Canadian rug hooking heritage.
They are printed on primitive linen, but can be special ordered on traditional if that is your preferred backing.
