There will be an Intro to Rug Hooking workshop at the Almonte Fibrefest on Sept 6th, 2024.
This class is 3 hours and will get you started on your rug hooking journey. If it is something you have wanted to try or if you have tried but would like a bit of help getting those loops just right this is the class for you.
We will work on a small easy project that will have you hooking in just a few minutes. Instruction and demos will be the focus so you will leave confident that you can get the project finished.
Kit includes a 6 x6 pattern on linen, cut wool strips, a small hoop. You will have use of a hook during the class and it will be available for purchase if you decide to continue. Hooks are $25
